Andy Joe Lepley, an 18-year-old senior from Rye High School, went missing on May 30, 1976, from Crow Junction, Colorado. On the day of his disappearance, Andy opened the Texaco gas station where he had been working part-time for two years. He was last seen at around 6:45 a.m. by customers and employees of a nearby restaurant, where he had briefly visited to drop off a newspaper. Shortly after, customers noticed the station was unattended, prompting a search.
