In the late afternoon of June 29, 2016, 53-year-old Edward John Abeyta, also known as DJ or John, told his family he was going for a walk in Rocky Ford, Colorado, and was never seen again. Earlier that day, Abeyta had been in a serious car accident that totaled his vehicle. He was reportedly complaining of a bad headache before he left for his walk.
