On May 20, 2011, Dawann J.H. Wright, a 27-year-old male, was found dead in Columbus, Ohio, after being shot multiple times. The incident occurred at around 1:30 a.m. on the 700 block of East 5th Avenue. Columbus Police arrived at the scene after receiving reports of gunshots in the area, only to find Wright suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite the efforts of emergency medical personnel, Wright was pronounced dead at the scene.
