Christine Langford, a 24-year-old woman, went missing on January 17, 1981, near Rockport, California, while camping with her husband, Craig Langford. The couple had been staying in their motorhome on a remote beach in Mendocino County. On January 19, 1981, authorities found their motorhome abandoned, and nearby, a small inflatable raft and a wooden oar were discovered in the surf, raising suspicions of an accident. However, despite extensive searches, neither Christine nor Craig was ever found.
