James Otis Anderson, a 54-year-old Episcopal priest, was last seen on June 13, 1982, in Townsend, Montana. That morning, Anderson was driving east on Highway 12, heading towards White Sulphur Springs, but he never arrived for his scheduled service at St. John’s Episcopal Church. His disappearance raised immediate concerns, as Anderson had left his home with everything in order, including the sermon he was supposed to deliver.
