On the day of her disappearance, June left her home around 9:00 a.m., telling her husband she was heading to her volunteer job at the Midland Restitution Center, a halfway house. She was passionate about becoming a probation officer and used her volunteer work to gain relevant experience. However, she never arrived at the center that day.
