On May 21, 2008, the decomposed body of Sherry Johnson, aged 45, was discovered in a field in northeast Houston. Workers from a construction company found her nude body lying face-down near a cellular telephone tower along the 7500 block of Tremont around 2:00 p.m. Authorities reported that her body had been there for several days before it was found.
