On the morning of January 7, 1992, 24-year-old Lisa Marie Beste was at her home in the 4300 block of Seibert Avenue in Affton, Missouri. A friend who had been visiting her that morning was the last person known to have seen her. About an hour after the friend departed, Lisa's six-year-old son arrived home from school to an empty house. His mother was gone, and she has not been seen or heard from since.

She was reportedly last seen wearing a black leather coat, blue jeans, and tennis shoes.
