Peggy Lynn Alt was a 17-year-old female from High Ridge, Missouri, when she was last seen at her home on March 2, 1985, just two days before her eighteenth birthday. Public missing-person records describe Peggy as a White female with brown eyes, blond or brown hair, approximately 5 feet tall and about 125 pounds, though one Missouri State Highway Patrol poster lists her height as 5 feet 4 inches.
