Dennis Frank Svoboda, aged 47, disappeared on January 21, 1996, while fishing on the Columbia River near Longview, Washington. He was last seen alongside his companion, Larry G. Mansur, in a red and white 15-foot Slickcraft runabout boat. The two men and their boat vanished under unclear circumstances that day.
