Robert Duane Lopeman, a 51-year-old man from Longview, Washington, was last seen in August 2008. He had been staying in a small apartment following his release from Western State Hospital, a state-run psychiatric facility where he had been undergoing treatment after his arrest in 2007 for disorderly conduct. Lopeman, who suffered from mental illness and had a history of drug abuse, disappeared without a trace.
