In the late summer of 1998, a young man named Russell 'Russ' John Olmstead vanished from the rural landscape of Ellisforde, Washington. On August 15th, the 24-year-old was given a ride by his mother to the Don Bensing Farm, where he planned to stay in a picker's cabin.
