Gretchen Moselle Wachter, a 33-year-old woman from Brooklyn, New York, was last seen on October 1, 2011. At the time of her disappearance, she was staying at the House of Hope, a facility for homeless individuals in Brooklyn. Her family last heard from her in October 2011, but after that, all contact ceased. The staff at the House of Hope also reported that they had not seen her since then, and they still had letters from her family that she never collected.
