Marlene Santana, just three days old, was abducted at gunpoint on October 21, 1985, in Brooklyn, New York. Her mother, Francisca Santana, had met the woman who kidnapped her at Brookdale Hospital, where Marlene was born. The abductor had admired the baby during visiting hours.
