William Fred Patient III, commonly known as Billy, was last seen on May 5, 2013, in Juno Beach, Florida, when he was 16 years old. At the time of his disappearance, he was participating in an outing with other boys from The Academy, a residential treatment center for troubled teens. He was last observed floating in the ocean around 4:30 p.m. on that day. When the group returned to shore, Billy was missing, having left his clothes and wallet on the beach.
