Yolanda Panek, a 21-year-old mother, was last seen on July 13, 1995, after checking into the Capri Motel in Portland, Oregon, with her two-year-old son. The next morning, her car was found abandoned near a Greyhound bus station, with her son inside unharmed. Bloodstains were discovered both inside the vehicle and in the motel room, where the mattress was soaked in blood, and bed linens were missing.
