On December 1, 2024, just before midnight, the Broward Sheriff's Office (BSO) responded to reports of a shooting near the 300 block of Avondale Drive in Pompano Beach, Florida. Upon arrival, deputies discovered an adult male, identified as Roderick Henry, who had sustained gunshot wounds. Pompano Beach Fire Rescue pronounced Henry deceased at the scene.
