On March 6, 2024, a fatal workplace shooting occurred in Pompano Beach, Florida, resulting in the death of 42-year-old Warren Chambers. Chambers was an employee at the Broward County Mass Transit maintenance center, where he had been working since his hire on Christmas Eve 2018.
