Connie Louise Hilbert, a 45-year-old woman from Gwinner, North Dakota, was last seen on November 8, 1996. She was leaving a café in Valley City around 2 a.m., heading home to her farm. Five days later, her white pickup truck was found submerged in the Sheyenne River near Kathryn, North Dakota. It is believed that her vehicle veered off the road, overturned on a curve, and crashed through the ice into the river. Despite extensive searches of the river, Connie's body was never found.
