Wynter Kasia Karima, a 29-year-old Native American woman enrolled with the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe, was last seen on December 30, 2024, in Bismarck, North Dakota. Her disappearance was officially reported to the Bismarck Police Department on February 11, 2025. Wynter was last known to be in the vicinity of the 1500 block of North 16th Street in Bismarck. According to family members, she was scheduled to enter a treatment program and had informed them she would be out of contact for a while.
However, after that date, no one has heard from her, and her absence has raised significant concern among loved ones and law enforcement.
Wynter is described as being 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighing approximately 180 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. Her case was entered into the National Missing and Unidentified Persons System on July 2, 2025, and she is not believed to have gone missing from tribal land, nor was her primary residence located on tribal land. The Bismarck Police Department has taken the lead in the investigation, and they have urged anyone with information to contact them or the Mandan Police Department.
