George Boardman, a 70-year-old retired merchant sailor, was last seen on October 5, 2000, in Bingham, Maine. He informed his roommates that he was going to a doctor's appointment but never returned. Over a month later, on November 6, 2000, his brown 1990 Honda Accord was found abandoned in the municipal parking lot in Searsmont, Maine, about 70 miles from his home in Bingham. Despite numerous interviews and leads, the case remains unsolved, and Boardman has never been located.
