Joaquin Sierra, an 86-year-old man from Reno, Nevada, was last seen on February 1, 2003. He and his wife, Eleanor Sierra, 82, mysteriously disappeared, and their case remained unsolved for over a decade. In April 2014, their mummified remains were discovered in a storage unit in Las Vegas. The couple had been living in Reno before their disappearance, and their last known contact was with a great-niece who they reached out to for financial help, claiming they had been robbed.
