John Curtis Adkins, 53, went missing after setting out on a fishing trip during the Fourth of July weekend in 2009. He departed from Garibaldi, Oregon, aboard the 48-foot fishing vessel "Tiger" with two companions, heading toward Ilwaco, Washington. The last confirmed sighting of Adkins was on July 5 at the Port of Ilwaco. He has not been heard from since. Despite efforts by law enforcement and the community, his whereabouts remain unknown. His case remains unsolved, and investigations continue.
