In the small, remote village of Akhiok, nestled on Kodiak Island, a sense of unease settled over the community in the fall of 2013. On October 26th, a 20-year-old man named Brandon Tyler Phillips, also known as Brendon Phillips or Brandon Peterson, set out for what should have been a routine excursion. He was last seen leaving the village on an ATV, with the intention of hiking Buck Cove Mountain.
