Olga Mauger, a 21-year-old newlywed, went missing on September 17, 1934, during a hunting trip with her husband, Carl Mauger, near Togwotee Pass in Wyoming. The couple had been on their honeymoon, spending time elk hunting in the rugged mountains near Dubois. On the day she vanished, Olga and Carl had hiked above their camp. When Olga grew tired, she chose to rest while Carl continued to scout for elk. He returned roughly 20 minutes later to find her gone, with no trace of where she had gone.
