Clyde Bowman, age 57, was last seen on November 8, 1981, while on a hunting trip in the Salmon National Forest, located in Lemhi County, Idaho. He disappeared during the trip and has never been heard from again. At the time of his disappearance, Bowman was described as having graying brown hair and brown eyes, standing between 5'7" and 5'11", and weighing between 160 and 190 pounds. He was wearing a denim jacket, jeans, and a cowboy hat.
Despite extensive searches, authorities were unable to locate Bowman. It is believed that he may have gotten lost or injured in the rugged forest terrain, and he is presumed to have succumbed to the elements. His case has remained unsolved for over four decades, with no new leads surfacing in recent years.
