Manuel Mejia Dominguez, a 33-year-old man from Honduras, was last seen on January 1, 1983, while attempting to cross the Rio Grande into the United States near Falfurrias, Texas. Dominguez was with a group of companions when he was swept away by the river’s strong current. Despite efforts by his companions, no one was able to save him, and he has not been seen since that day.
