Jorge Alexander Elias Murcia, a 45-year-old man, went missing on May 18, 2021, near Falfurrias, Texas. His last known communication indicated he had been left abandoned close to the Texas border. He had been attempting to reunite with his sister in Los Angeles after over 20 years of separation. Jorge was traveling with a group when, reportedly, he was left behind, potentially due to exhaustion or distress, which is a common peril faced by migrants in the area.
