Rose Peterson, 41, was last seen on July 28, 1989, in Calumet, Michigan. A resident of the West Side Adult Foster Care Home, Rose walked away from an employee's home around noon that day. She was later seen the following day walking south along US-41, near the Houghton County Memorial Airport, possibly heading towards Hancock. Rose may have been experiencing suicidal thoughts at the time of her disappearance.
