In the summer of 1989, in Michigan's Upper Peninsula, a 41-year-old woman named Rose Peterson vanished. On Friday, July 28th, Rose, a resident of the West Side Adult Foster Care Home in Calumet, walked away from an employee's home around noon. At the time of her disappearance, she was considered an endangered adult, and there were concerns that she may have been suicidal. Rose was a mother, and her sudden absence left her family, including her 14-year-old son, without answers.
