Christina Balog, a 43-year-old woman from Westland, Michigan, went missing on February 11, 2013. On that day, she was last seen leaving her home on Garden Street around 9 a.m., telling her mother she was going for a walk. Christina left without taking any personal belongings, including her purse, phone, or money. At the time of her disappearance, she was described as agitated and paranoid, repeatedly claiming that someone was after her. She walked towards the Rouge River but never returned.
