In the early evening of June 28, 2023, in the community of Houghton Lake, Michigan, 15-year-old Tamara Annea Perez and her younger sister, Iris, were seen by a neighbor walking towards the woods near their home between 7:30 and 8:00 p.m. This would be the last time either of the girls was seen.
