Tara Beth White, a 40-year-old woman from Galesburg, Illinois, was last seen on March 26, 1997, at her home on Pine Street, where she lived with her parents. The following morning, her parents awoke to find her missing. Strangely, Tara left behind her purse, identification, and credit cards, and there was no indication of where she might have gone. At the time, she was unemployed and had no known associates in the area, adding to the mystery surrounding her disappearance.
