Scott Berry, who was also known as Simmoni Jamie Berry after undergoing gender reassignment, disappeared under suspicious circumstances from Arcadia, Florida, on September 8, 2004. At the time, Berry was 49 years old and living in the 11700 block of Southwest Anne Avenue. She was in the process of moving to Mayo, Florida, but delayed the move due to local storms.
