Glen Crowley, a 45-year-old from New Bedford, Massachusetts, was last seen on December 20, 2004, aboard the fishing vessel *Northern Edge*. The 75-foot scallop boat, with a crew of six, departed from New Bedford but faced disaster off the coast of Nantucket. At approximately 4:44 PM, the Coast Guard received an emergency beacon signal, followed by a mayday call reporting the vessel had overturned and was sinking.
