In the summer of 2005, a young man named Jesus Alfonso Palomino-Ponce, known to some as 'El Gordo,' vanished, leaving his family deeply concerned for his well-being. He was 24 years old at the time of his disappearance. On June 19, 2005, Jesus was last seen in Sonoita, Mexico, a location near the United States border.
