Lucas Zavala Missing Person Case

In the summer of 2009, a young man named Lucas Zavala, aged 19, vanished under distressing circumstances near the United States-Mexico border. He was last seen between July 16 and July 19 in the area of Lukeville, Arizona, and Sonoyta, Mexico. Lucas was in the process of crossing into the U.S. when he reportedly became dehydrated and exhausted after walking for eight hours. It was at this point, near a highway, that he was left behind, and tragically, he has not been heard from since.
