In the early morning hours of January 17, 2023, the life of 46-year-old Nicholas Ray Smith took an unexpected and worrying turn. At his home in Glendale, Arizona, his mother observed him in a state of agitation, pacing restlessly in his bedroom at 3:30 AM. This would be the last time she saw her son.
