Michael Raymond Reeder, aged 43, was last seen on April 1, 2014, in Escondido, California. A Marine Corps veteran suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) due to his service in Operation Desert Storm, Reeder also struggled with substance abuse. He was last spotted at a Wells Fargo bank in Valley Center, San Diego County. Shortly after, on April 8, his vehicle was found abandoned in a remote area near Lake Wohlford in Escondido.
