In the early hours of July 22, 2014, Richard John Horn, a 42-year-old man from Cleveland, Oklahoma, vanished. He was last seen at approximately 1:30 a.m. with an acquaintance, John David Lee II. Lee informed authorities that he dropped Horn off near the intersection of Airport Road and U.S. Highway 64. Richard, who was in poor health and required medication, has not been seen or heard from since that time. His disappearance is considered suspicious by law enforcement. Richard is described as a white male with brown hair and blue eyes. At the time he went missing, he stood between 5'6" and 5'7" and weighed around 120 pounds. He had a beard and mustache and wore eyeglasses. His appearance is also marked by numerous tattoos, including sleeves on both arms, a skull and rose on his right arm, a unicorn on his upper back, and various other designs on his neck, waist, and calves. He also has scars on both of his eyebrows. The investigation into Richard's disappearance has been ongoing, with the Pawnee County Sheriff's Office and the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation handling the case. The acquaintance he was last seen with, John David Lee II, has been identified as a person of interest. Lee is also considered a person of interest in the separate 2017 disappearance of Kathy Hemphill from Tulsa. Despite this, no charges have been filed in connection to Richard Horn's case, and it remains an unsolved and troubling mystery for his family and the community.
