In the summer of 2023, a then 16-year-old Carlos Daniel Perez, a Hispanic male with black hair and black eyes, vanished from Durham, North Carolina. He was last seen on August 13, 2023. At the time of his disappearance, Carlos was described as being between 5'7' and 5'8' tall and weighing between 150 and 160 pounds.
