Macin Smith, a 17-year-old from St. George, Utah, was last seen on the morning of September 1, 2015, when he was believed to be heading to Desert Hills High School. His parents assumed he left for school, but later discovered that he never boarded the bus and had left his phone, wallet, and laptop behind. Macin, who had a history of depression, also left a handwritten note in his wallet, which was found a week later by his parents.
