Loren "Jamie" Salis, age 55, was last seen on the night of September 16, 2015, while free diving off Old Coast Guard Road near North Kohala, Hawaii. Salis, who had not been spearfishing in over a decade, went on the excursion with two friends. He was last seen around 10:30 p.m., wearing a black wetsuit and diving weights. At approximately 2:40 a.m. the following day, his friends reported him missing after they failed to locate him.
