Matthew Jaggard Scheer, 26, was last seen on October 3, 2015, after walking out of the Grand Strand Regional Hospital in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, around 1:30 a.m. At the time, he was wearing a blue t-shirt and plaid shorts. There were concerns regarding his mental state, as he had reportedly been experiencing symptoms of psychosis prior to his disappearance. It is believed that he may have headed toward the beach near 68th Avenue North, but he was never seen again.
