Christina Lynn Bastian, 34, was last seen in the early hours of November 1, 2015, in Apple Valley, California. She had been staying at a friend’s house after attending a church event on October 31. At around 1:45 a.m., she abruptly left the home, taking her small dog, Coco, but leaving behind important items like her wallet, glasses, and identification. That same day, her belongings were found scattered along Highway 247, and her truck was later discovered abandoned in Morongo Valley with visible damage.
In the days leading up to her disappearance, Christina exhibited increasingly erratic behavior, likely related to her decision to stop taking her medication for bipolar disorder. She had expressed fears of a break-in at her apartment and had mentioned to family that she was contemplating significant life changes. Despite searches and investigations, including the recovery of her dog, Coco, Christina herself has never been found. Her case remains unsolved, with no evidence of foul play but serious concerns for her safety due to her mental health and unusual behavior before she went missing.
Authorities encourage anyone with information to contact the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department.
