John Nelson Beck, a 73-year-old man from Alameda, California, went missing on February 9, 2016. He was last seen in Oakland, where he was dropped off for a bankruptcy hearing related to a $113 million judgment against him due to his involvement in a get-rich-quick real estate scam. Beck's family reported him missing after he failed to return home, and surveillance footage captured him boarding a BART train heading toward San Francisco.
