William Jack Starke, a 34-year-old man from Coos Bay, Oregon, was last seen on October 1, 1982. On that day, he was reported missing after he failed to return home as expected the previous evening. At the time of his disappearance, Starke was driving a 1974 International Scout with a tan body and white roof, bearing Oregon license plate HHL314. Both he and his vehicle have never been found.
