Christopher Bird, a 25-year-old schoolteacher from Haverhill, Massachusetts, disappeared on July 29, 1984. He was last seen at the D&Q Stables in Windham, New Hampshire, after borrowing a ladder from a friend's house around 3:00 p.m. When Bird didn’t return home, his wife reported him missing the following day.
