Shawn Perkins, a 20-year-old fisherman from Eastport, Maine, went missing on February 11, 1991, while aboard the scallop dragger *Miss Anne*. The boat, which was headed from Eastport to Stockton Springs, never arrived at its destination. An intensive search was launched by the U.S. Coast Guard, but only the skiff from the vessel was found, with no trace of the boat or its three-man crew. Along with Perkins, Alfred Hall and his son, Thomas Hall, were also lost in the incident.
