Monica Renae Larson, aged 45, was last seen on December 1, 2015, in Fresno County, California. She stood 5'9", weighed around 150 pounds, and had gray hair and hazel eyes. Monica had a distinctive tattoo of a heart outline on her left shoulder and was missing her upper teeth. At the time of her disappearance, she lived with her boyfriend and was scheduled to undergo surgery in early 2016. Her mother reported her missing after losing contact with her in the months leading up to Christmas 2015.
Douglas Floyd Parker, her ex-boyfriend, is considered a suspect in her case. Monica had previously accused Parker of domestic violence in 2012, but the charges were dismissed after she recanted. In 2017, Parker was convicted for torturing another woman, warning her that she would "end up like Larson" if she reported the attack. Although investigators have searched his home for Monica's remains, no concrete evidence has been found linking him to her disappearance. Despite extensive efforts, her case remains unsolved, and foul play is strongly suspected.
