Cindy Marilyn Ray, a 4-month-old baby, was last seen on March 30, 1989, in Fresno, California. On the day of her disappearance, Cindy was left unattended in a swing in her family’s backyard by her father, Jonathan Ray. When he returned, she was missing. Cindy’s disappearance was not reported to the authorities until three days later, on April 1, due to her mother's fear that her husband, who had a history of domestic abuse, would be suspected.
